To make your picture smaller, open it in Adobe Photoshop. Then, click on File, go to Export, and choose Save for Web (Legacy). A box will pop up where you can change the settings to reduce the file size.
You can use a website called Compress JPEG ( https://compressjpg.org ) to make your pictures smaller. It works for both JPG and PNG images. Just visit the website, and upload your JPG picture, and it will shrink the file size without harming the image's quality.
Keep in mind that when you compress an image, it might lose some quality and sharpness. So, try to find a good middle ground between file size and image quality.
